SuperMomPreneur, is to showcase the strength, capabilities and talents of mothers who embarked on new career paths while juggling the duties of motherhood. They have successfully created a balance between taking care of their children, home, themselves and at the same time putting their sharp minds and skills to productive use to create a niche career for themselves that has brought them satisfaction and happiness.
Nidhi is a mother of two - Arjun who is 5 years of age and Nia 3 years . She runs a successful Bollywood Dance Instruction company named BollyBeatz (www.bollybeatz.com) based out of Singapore which runs franchises and workshops in USA, Europe and other parts of Asia. She has a passion for dance, exotic cooking, learning new things, biking, spending quality time with her kids, partying and catching up on movies on her alone time with her husband. When she is not doing any of that she is thinking of new business ideas to embark upon.
A Note from the Founder
“I almost feel guilty if I am not home when the kids return from school. The excitement on their face when they see me waiting for them on their return from school is priceless. I want to spend as much time as I can with them now - it makes me feel good and it helps me keep them away from television! I love exotic cooking. We believe in a healthy cooked fresh at home diet as a family. My husband loves food and so do I. So I cook everyday mostly.... My stay in USA taught me how to be super-efficient in the kitchen and manage my time well. I usually try to finish all the kitchen work before the kids come home. My dance classes are timed such that i am away while the kids are in school”.
It definitely is hard to juggle it all together - but I feel only a woman can multitask so well. We just have it in us - we are strong and determined. I feel blessed that God has given me the option and opportunity to find and do what I love doing and make a life out of it without compromising on the personal front! I de-stress and rejuvenate when I conduct my dance lessons. My closest friends are women I met in my classes!
I have come across a lot of women through my classes who inspired me, amazed me with their talents and their ability to follow their passion and excel at it, while always finding the time for their family. These women have given up their lucrative careers and chosen entrepreneurship to create a work and personal life balance. They juggle their family life, kids and kitchens as effortlessly as they do their businesses. They are content, happy and motivating supermoms. On the other hand I met some supertalented women , who have been hesitant in taking the plunge to start something of their own - either due to lack of confidence or because they didn't know that their talent exists!

My Inspiration
My Inspiration and my role model is my mother. A woman who created a niche for herself in a small town (it did not even have a bakery!) of Madhya Pradesh in India. When I was seven years old she started a small textiles boutique from a room at home named Shreshtha. With an Initial capital of USD100 she started and grew it manifolds in the following twenty years. She was extremely hands on. She would make me and my sister study, do our playtime, cook and yet continue to grow her business. A remarkable woman, with a passion to learn at any age, a zeal to pursue and excel… that’s what I have always seen in my mom. She is a self taught Bonsai artist. She owns more than 200 bonsais all created by her, some of them almost forty years old. She is an avid reader, a finance master (again self-taught), an investor and an inspiring mother. She always encouraged us to study, to work hard and to save. I remember her always saying – it’s easy to spend but hard to earn. So when you earn on your own you realize the value of money and you will stop wasting it. We were always given strong values at home, had to do our own chores, use public transport so we understood and valued what life had to offer.
Today, Mom has closed down her textiles business but with her passion for learning, she took on to computers. Learnt the ABC of it and is an online trader today managing hers and a few others portfolio with a lot of success. I believe, that if she had the opportunity that I had and the education that I was given she would be a CEO of a financial firm today. I am blessed to have inherited a small amount of the drive that she has and the passion for learning from her. Thanks Mom and this one is for you!
I hope this website will help the featured moms to get recognition for their work and promote their ventures. I also hope that it will motivate its readers to recognize and harness their talents and empower them to start a business of their own.
